Our client is a rapidly expanding and exciting Precision Medicine thought leader. They exist to find the right treatment for every patient. Their focus is to use artificial intelligence and machine learning to discover and develop better treatments for unmet medical needs, starting with the fight against cancer.

They have significant investment from pharmaceutical companies to grow and develop servies. They are now looking for the brightest and best to help them go even further in achieving our mission.

The Partnerships Manager has the opportunity to help grow partnerships with academic players through AI research project collaborations, mainly in oncology but also in cardiovascular and other Therapeutic areas to follow.

As a Partnerships Manager, you will have to develop and lead partnerships with academic players to secure access to multimodal datasets. With 15 partnerships already contracted in Europe and in the US with the most prestigious medical and research centers (e.g. APHP, Gustave Roussy, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, King's College London among others), our ambition is to triple this number a year from now.

You will report to the local Director of Partnerships and work directly with scientific, legal and IT teams.

As well as the Italy region, our client is looking to fill in several open positions for the UK, Benelux, Germany/Austria/Switzerland and the Nordics, France and the US.

If you have a great network of KoL and a passion for developing high quality data sharing agreements, this is ideal for you.


In particular, you will:

•  Identify academic researchers and institutes to explore potential collaborations with

•  Lead day to day engagement with these academic partners to develop long term collaborations

•  Maintain academic partner account relationships and processes

•  Lead negotiations of contract terms with legal teams, with support fromthe legal team

•  Strengthen relationships with KOLs and develop the network

•  Interact with pharmas business development to drive the sales strategy

•  Interact with pharmas business development to drive the sales strategy

•  Interact with the R&D team to develop skills in machine learning for biomedical data

According to your territory of responsibilities, you will be attached to one of our offices but work with a local contract in full remote from one of the countries you are in charge of. This means you can be based anywhere in Belgium, Netherlands or Luxembourg

What You Can Expect

The program kicks off with an orientation and training led by our top professionals and expert instructors which will arm you with the technical and practical knowledge you'll need to make your mark in Global Corporate Banking.

Our team members and mentors will help you navigate the firm and continue to learn about our businesses. Access to senior management and a strong network of peers will promote ongoing professional development throughout the summer. Top performing summer analysts may receive a full-time offer to join the two-year Global Corporate Banking analyst program.


You'll make an impact by:

•  Assisting GCB bankers in managing internal aspects of existing client relationships

•  Helping with industry and credit analysis, including reviewing financial statements, supporting the credit approval and documentation process

•  Gaining exposure to product, strategy, or client coverage-based teams

•  Preparing internal memos, for example senior management briefings, decision committee memoranda

•  Participating in the analysis and negotiation of financing requests in coordination with credit, product, legal and compliance teams

•  Coordinating with product and country teams to identify and execute transactions for clients globally across a range of products, for example capital markets, risk solutions, transaction banking

•  Networking with industry leaders, accessing best-in-class training and learning how all our businesses work together to provide excellent customer service


About You

Genuine curiosity about the Global Corporate Banking world is the starting point. We're looking for adaptable, accurate, enthusiastic students who thrive under pressure and in a team. There's no set degree for Corporate Bankers; but a demonstrated interest in finance and economics is advantageous.


Key Skills Include:

•  Exceptional analytical, research and project management skills

•  Familiarity with business fundamentals

•  Ability to quickly solve problems on your own and with a team

•  Enthusiasm, energy and a drive to succeed

•  A collaborative mindset and willingness to partner and work on a team

•  Fluency in English and Italian

•  Expected graduation date between January 2023 and August 2024

Job No 3 ( Junior Credit Risk Analyst Corporate & Investment Bank )

The Credit Risk Management CB & IB unit is seeking a Junior Credit Analyst, who will be responsible for Credit analysis and monitoring of a portfolio of Italian MidCaps Corporates and supporting local approval process of Large Corporates and FIs.

Differently from what detailed in the headline, this is a full-time job .


Key Responsibilities:

• Support c redit a nalysis , analysis of financial and economic performance, identification of risk drivers and evaluation of downcase scenarios

• Support senior credit officers in managing credit request analyzing risk/reward profile of the transaction proposed, proactively propose risk mitigating structures

• Ensure efficient, correct and accurate and timely response to business request

• Support local approval process of LargeCaps and FIs, ensuring compliance of all internal and external regulation

•   Monitor and report of credit exposures, identify early warning signals

•   Prepare the documentation for Credit Committee and Senior Management Committees

•   Represent and prepare for Internal Audits/ Regulators


Skill Requirements:

•Graduate and/or post graduate degree in business/finance (or a similar field of study)

• Basic knowledge of credit products, credit documentation and credit approval process ( 2-3 years of experience in banking sector )

• Attitude to credit related regulatory requirements

•Understanding of potential risks (reputational, compliance, legal issues) related to credit approval process

•Self-motivated, structured approach and a strong attention to details paired with synthesis ability

•  Proven ability to multi-task different projects and prioritize

•  Ability to build cross-divisional as well as cross-regional relationships

•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and Italian)

•  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including strong Excel skills
